IT’S TIME TO CELEBRATE 25 YEARS OF IMPACT!

The Dublin Education Foundation turns 25 years old and continues to provide classroom grant funding for Dublin City Schools’ teachers who have innovative, creative classroom projects.  Those projects that live long past their day in the classroom, elevating young minds to think outside the box and become the best versions of themselves.

Grant awarded teachers will be in attendance to share the impact in their classroom of your giving, grant recipient Dublin Taiko will perform at 7:30pm, and a cash bar, light appetizers, birthday cake, and a special Celebration Sangria will be available.

Our Story

Founded in 1999 as a non-profit, the Dublin Education Foundation (DEF) supports innovative educators by providing grant funding for enriching opportunities in Dublin City Schools.  The goal is to deepen educational experiences and inspire our learners and educators. Through the charitable giving of our community partners including businesses, alumni, educators, and residents we have awarded over 350 grants.

Our Mission

To enrich innovative learning projects in Dublin City Schools through grant funding and network collaborations.

Our Values

The Dublin Education Foundation is dedicated to our core values:

  • Committed: Supporting the curriculum and strategic plan of DCS
  • Impactful: Enriching individual opportunities and growth for all learners
  • Inclusive: Promoting K-12 student and educator success across the DCS
  • Sustainable: Identifying opportunities for grant replication
  • Accountable: Maintaining fiscal responsibility
  • Collaborative:  Fostering connections and strengthening community partnerships

Dublin Scioto High School’s US Veterans Round Table and sharing project received a DEF Grant submitted by DSHS teacher John Witt. Students shared stories of personal relatives or others who have served in our armed services. The deep dive into the ‘why’ behind the service helps bring life and a sense of connection to the history class Mr. Witt teaches.
